Invoice Ninja is all about giving you options. The more options you have to create the right invoicing experience, the more likely it is that you’ll be able to make your customers happy. And isn’t that what matters the most?

The Invoice Ninja setup is simple. You send an invoice email, and the customer clicks on the link to open your invoice on a web page.

Whoa! Hold it right there. You customer actually prefers to receive the invoice as a PDF file. Why? There could be a ton of reasons! Maybe their accounting department needs to file your invoice, electronically or as a printed hard copy in an old-fashioned folder. Or perhaps they want to be able to show the invoice to colleagues, without needing to give everyone access to the online version. No matter the reason, with the Pro Plan, you can give the customer what they want by sending the invoice email with the invoice attached as a .pdf file.

Attaching invoice .pdf files to emails is so simple, it’s really a matter of “don’t blink or you’ll miss it.” So, here goes.

Open Advanced Settings > Email Settings. Check the box next to Attach PDFs. From now on, every invoice email you send will have a PDF version of the invoice attached to it. Voila!

At Invoice Ninja, it’s our mission to make all the complexity of invoicing fly out the window. Want to send PDF attachments? Check! Changed your mind? Uncheck! One-stop invoicing functionality is the name of the game.

Sounds good?
